The new Night Ranger album Hole In The Sun will be released in Europe through Frontiers Records on April 20.
Hole In The Sun is a seriously hard rocking album, which draws on the band's classic sound, mixed with a more contemporary style and totally in your face production. There are guitars everywhere on this record, not to mention the trademark dual vocals and huge harmonies. The guys throw a few curve balls at fans, but the more you listen to the album, the more familiar it seems. I think it's a great record, period. At times it can sound contemporary and modern, but in other places it is just like the classic vibe of the band, albeit, with a fresh updated production.
