    February 18, 2001: IRON MAIDEN manager, Rod Smallwood, begins a 350 mile trek across Kenya by bicycle for SCOPE, the UK's largest charity for disabled people and their families, as part of the Kenya Bike-Away, which has been organised to help people with cerebral palsy. Rod pledges to raise £20,000 for Scope.

    2003: JIMI HENDRIX' body is exhumed again and relocated under a giant marble dome, which will nearly complete a memorial in Renton, WA.

    2004: BIOHAZARD vocalist/bassist Evan Seinfeld adopts a new name, Spider Jonez, which he will use while performing in hardcore porn films with his wife, adult film star Tera Patrick.

    2004: TED NUGENT confesses to fathering a child out of wedlock with a Dover, New Hampshire, woman who is suing the '70s rocker for child support and custody.
