    December 8, 2004 : Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott, guitarist for "DAMAGEPLAN", ex-"PANTERA", is shot and killed while performing onstage in Columbus, Ohio.

    December 9, 2004 : William H. "Bill" Larson, "MOTLEY CRUE"'s original co-manager, record promoter, and HardRadio.com co-founder, succumbs to cancer in Van Nuys, CA.

    December 4, 1980 : "LED ZEPPELIN" issue the following statement about the death of John Bonham: "The loss of our dear friend, and the deep sense of harmony felt by ourselves and our manager, have led us to decide that we could not continue as we were".
