    December 11, 2000 : "A PERFECT CIRCLE"'s debut album,"Mer de Noms",was approved for release in China by the country's government.The first western rock album since "GUNS N' ROSES"' "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II" were permitted in 1997.The album was required to display an "explicit language" warning in China.

    December 8, 2004 : Darrell "Dimebag" Abbott,guitarist for "DAMAGEPLAN" and ex-"PANTERA",is shot and killed while performing onstage in Columbus,Ohio.The reason was cause he left "PANTERA"!

    December 8, 1984 : "HANOI ROCKS" Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley is killed in a car accident with "MOTLEY CRUE"'s Vince Neil at the wheel.Neil was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

    December 8, 1980 : JOHN LENNON is murdered!

    December 7, 1999 : "U.D.O." release "Holy".

    December 7, 1999 : "CONTROL DENIED" release their debut album.

    December 7, 1999 : "METHODS OF MAYHEM" release their debut album.
